What is Your Teachers Name?

Today, we took my 5yo to the neurologist. He was a real nice guy who say down and asked him if he was in Kindergarten. My 5yo smiled and said, "Yes." He asked how school was going. My 5yo replied, "Good." Then he asked, "What is your teacher's name?" All of a sudden my son got shy. He looked down and clammed up. The doctor asked again. Still no reply, utter silence. I prompted him, "Mommy?" Still no answer. He just stared at the ground. The doctor asked him, "Is Mommy your teacher?" For that he got a little nod. The doctor then told us he wished he had been homeschooled. I told him I felt the same.
