Catching up...

1. Today was the last Trail Life meeting of the year. The boys picked out Christmas cards to give to their leaders. They played white elephant and each got a little toy. Twizzler got a bag of army men. Skittles got an inflatable swim ring.
2. Both boys were honored with a participation certificate.
3. Both boys also earned a leaf for making a box for Operation Christmas Child. Leaves are what they are calling badges. I am so proud of them.
4. I baked 5 dozen cookies and a dish of vegetarian gumbo for the Trail Life Christmas party. Of all the things that Hershey had to choose from, he wanted my gumbo.
   
5. I spent most of the evening chasing around and entertaining Hershey. It was a work out.
