Play Date School Mates

We had friends over for a play date today. We all did school together and played together.

1. In history we read about young George Washington. He was smart and strong. He also worked as a land surveyor. 
2. In science we read about owls. Then we made a food chain with owls on the top. We experimented with removing parts of the chain. We observed that each living thing depends on the other to keep it in check and keep it alive. Then we went on a nature walk and tried to find the owl that lives in our neighborhood but it was daylight so finding a sleeping owl is pretty difficult. 
3. All other subjects were done easily. I kind of like working with other kids. It seemed like it was positive peer pressure. They all worked alongside each other happily.
