Making a rainbow

• I found an experiment for how to make a rainbow. We all crowded into the dark bathroom and shined a flashlight onto a mirror in a pan of water and caught a tiny rainbow on our piece of paper.

  

• The kids read about Athens today in Story of the World. It is very different from the soldier's life in Sparta. 
• I read Green Eggs and Ham to my preschoolers at co-op. I was very impressed with how Hershey matched up his shapes to the right eggs completely on his own. Then we made a Cat in the Hat. We added the bible verse, "Taste and see that the Lord is good."

• Skittles is learning about putting words in alphabetical order. Twizzler has been learning about vowels and consonants.
